Shalom Temple Journey

Meet Jax, a faith-driven leader devoted to serving others through truth, stewardship, and the restoration of body, mind, and spirit. With Shalom Temple Ministries, her work reflects a deeper calling to help individuals return to a life rooted in faith, guided by purpose, and aligned with the principles of creation. She believes that true wellness begins with spiritual foundation, where faith shapes daily choices, restores identity, and brings clarity to how we care for our bodies and live in community.
Jax plays a central role in advancing the mission of Shalom Temple Ministries by creating spaces where individuals feel supported, equipped, and encouraged to grow. Her approach connects faith with practical living, helping people take simple, intentional steps toward better health and renewed strength. She is committed to helping others reconnect with their health through holistic living that respects the body as it was designed to function.
With a focus on balance, discipline, and self-responsibility, she supports individuals on their path to lasting wellness. Through one-on-one consultations, she provides guidance tailored to each person’s needs, helping them address challenges with clarity and confidence. Her work includes teaching DIY remedies, building sustainable daily habits, and creating nourishing meal plans that support long-term health without confusion or overwhelm.
Jax meets people where they are and walks alongside them as they build a stronger foundation for their lives. Her mission is to equip individuals and families with practical tools they can apply every day, helping them move forward with confidence, consistency, and faith at the center of their journey.

Mayan Mountain
Mayan Mountain is family run jade business founded by Jesse Stout in Honduras in 2007. Jesse works with Mayan carvers in Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador and Mexico, where each artisan is paid their asking price for every piece they produce. Most are father/son teams who work from home. All of our jadeite is ethically sourced in small batches and sent to various families as well as ours here in the USA. You can find our fine jade jewelry listed on eBay and Etsy, and he displays annually at the Monterey Bay Jade Festival in California. Jesse was the Vice President of Casita Copán Children’s Home in Honduras for 6 years, and still donates a percentage of every sale to them.

Mayan Mountain supports Casita Copàn
Casita Copàn is a grassroots nonprofit based in Copàn Ruinas, dedicated to keeping families together and preventing child abandonment. Founded in 2012, the organization supports vulnerable children and single mothers through community based care, education, and economic empowerment.
Through its family style homes, children’s center, and programs for women, Casita Copàn provides a safe, nurturing environment where children can grow and mothers can build stable, independent lives. By addressing the root causes of poverty like: lack of childcare, education and opportunity, the organization helps break cycles of hardship while strengthening the entire community.
Casita Copàn represents a deeply local, compassionate approach to change, one that prioritizes dignity, family and long term impact in Central America.
